The Claddagh Symbol

It doesn't seem all that long ago that most people who were not Irish didn't know what the claddagh symbol was.

Now the claddagh is as ubiquitous as the shamrock for Irish symbols. I see people of all ethnicities wearing the claddagh- and why not! The meaning is beautiful. And although traditionally it was meant for weddings - the expression of  love, loyalty, and friendship can be shared by everyone.

So whether you claim Let love and friendship reign or Love, Loyalty, and Friendship I hope these pieces inspire you to share a little Irish history.
